WHO?
We are College Audition Lab and we're you're biggest fan. The college audition process is complicated and competitive, so we're here to make it a little easier. Between prescreens, differing school requirements, and the chaos of audition season and all it brings, you need someone to lighten the load. That's where we come in. We not only do the heavy lifting of audition prep, but we also believe in preparing our students for success once they get to school and beyond. College Audition Lab is run by Miles Josephson. Miles has been a professional actor in NYC for over a decade and is a graduate of Pace University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Coaching is available in New York City and worldwide via zoom.
WHAT?
At College Audition Lab, we believe every student is unique and deserves audition material that showcases their individual talents. There are so many songs and monologues to choose from and it can be hard to know where to start. We start with getting to know you. Once we know what you like and what you're best at, we find material worthy of representing you. After that, its the fun part. We get to create your own version of the material and get it audition ready. We also nurture important skills needed to thrive in a theatre such as basic pitch identification or monologue analysis. We're your biggest cheerleaders through your auditions and then we hold your hand as we wait to hear back. Also, we're flexible! Book as you go or get a package. Sliding scale rates are available if needed.
WHY?
We opened College Audition Lab because we believe in the importance of art, education, and compassion. We know the college audition process is a unique, exhausting, and vulnerable experience for kids and parents alike. It's a joy to support young artists and their families through it as they move on to the next stage of their artistic and personal life. We believe that the support starts with the audition, not stops. We make it a priority to stay available to students far after they get their acceptance letters. About Your Audition Coach
Miles Josephson has a professional actor in New York City for over a decade. A Los Angeles native, he moved to NYC to attend Pace University for BFA Musical Theatre. You may have seen Miles in projects like Survival of The Thickest (Netflix) or Beneath The Bowtie (Geffen Playhouse). Having gone through the college audition process himself, Miles is passionate about making sure every single student he works with feels prepared not just for their audition, but for college and beyond. As a proud LGBTQ+ member, Miles is committed to mentoring the next generation of queer and trans actors. Students of all identities are embraced here. Miles believes that the support starts with the audition, not stops. He makes it a priority to stay available to his students for years to come and help them through the stages of their artistic lives.
